Hi Susan,

Yes we make the molds from my original sculptures. It is, as you say, fun. My husband once told me that he can't tell when I am working or when I am playing. This afternoon I'll make molded parts from each opening and plan a project using the mold. Hummm, sounds like fun again. LOL!

Isn't polymer clay amazing. So many ideas and so little time. :-) Thanks!

Hi Jax,

Thanks so much! The mold will go on sale once I compete the developing and writing the free tutorial, photo the parts & step by step images, mold samples, measure each mold opening for size and clay amount.... Whew. I better get on it. More later.

Will do Jax, Joe is hanging in there and eager to get the RV back so we can take a break at the lake. Egad, that rhymes! Yes, we both are busy but are taking care that every afternoon he hollers "Break time" and we put our feet up, watch a bit of TV, or a movie and just relax. We seem to have just enough to do to keep us growing but not so much we are worn out. God's blessing for sure. :-)

Jax, have you considered standing them up on a scanner with the pattern end down? I have done that for some of mine. They can't be sticky or they will have dark spots. Then I just cut them out in Photoshop and TaDA! cane pics!

The colors are certainly bright enough for poppies. There is a painting called Field of Poppies and when I went to Google Images to see it I found this fabulous painting by artist Melissa McKinnon. 'Love it!

Isn't that pretty! I think there is a slight resemblance :) Purely coincidental since mine was just a spiral that happily hinted at poppies in the end product. Thanks for sharing that with me!
