The following is a post by Beth Curran from several years ago that I had saved and am re-posting:

"I don't think Bear Creek Pottery sells them any more.  The brand name on these blades is Sakura Tissue-Tek Accu-Edge tissue blades.  Lab rats can order them from VWR, or you can get them on Amazon

They are absolutely the best, but unfortunately you have to buy the whole box.  They also come in a long size, which can easily be snapped in half using two pairs of pliers, so you get two usable blades per long blade.  i scored several boxes from Bear several years ago and shared them with my fellow guild members, so I suggest you find someone to split a box with you". - Beth

Occasionally you can find them on Ebay.  There is a box of the long blades up right now for a really good price

These long blades are twice the standard length.  You can easily snap them in half, so you get 100 standard blades from a box of 50 long ones.  - Beth
