I tried to respond to you last night but our power went out! All is well now though.

Your bracelet turned out great! I've been looking at extruders and just may get a fancier one. I like what you've done with yours and well, you know...tool envy, lol.

Thank you, Eva....he started out to be way different but sort of evolved into this. I tried to make him goofy but he wanted to be serious, I guess! I went thru several versions of his eyes and settled for semi-friendly vs googly.

Hubby has quite a talent with wood. I had an opportunity to share a booth at a craft show a while back and did sell all that I had with me rather quickly. We were visiting family in Oklahoma and had only brought along a small assortment to show to my SIL that is into fiber arts too. Funny thing, it wasn't even that kind of craft show so I can imagine they will do well when the venue is geared to spinning. But hubby is adamant that he will not do the sales part of a small business and it must wait. On the other hand...I can imagine retiring earlier if it were to do well and no way to know for sure until we try. So, we have a stalemate lol.

And, speaking of work...I must get ready now! ttyl :)

Thank you! I should've put something for perspective in the photo...it is a good size for an ornament. I'd love a tree full of PC ornaments. I do have several but no birds as yet.

Thanks, Susan - I went to bed not long after posting, so probably wouldn't have seen your response until today, anyway ;) Glad you got all powered up again - power outage is such a PITA.

Tool envy, huh? Have you seen the thread about extruders in the "QUESTIONS" folder?  http://forums.delphiforums.com/polymerclay/messages/?msg=71313.1 where I talk to Jackie about pros and cons.  (Not to add to your envy, mind you! Just you wait till I get my Lucy Clay Machine Elephant in a few weeks!) Muahahaha!

Made me smile, even chuckle a bit. A cute bird for sure.

The drop spindles are incredible. The one in the center is stunning. You are a very lucky lady to have a drop spindle like those.

Thanks...and yes, i am lucky, lol. I'm "obligated" to try each one to be sure they perform correctly ;) the one you like is tiny and light weight...just right for laceweight yarn. Its black palm wood.
