Hello, this is my first offering to the group here. I've enjoyed looking at all the previous posts in the TAW and TAD sections. Really awesome stuff there! This is one in a growing collection of tiles I make with the canes I create.

I'm using them in different ways, with the primary project a framework for the entrance door to my home.

Not all make the cut for the frame; some become coasters, or just pretties to leave laying around for looking pleasure.

Each of the tiles in this trio has a name, and they are: I went to a garden party, Candy Man, and I'm Going to Live until I die.

I love working with polymer clay.

Have a great day!

I especially like the outline flower shape in the background. That's a nice touch,

Beautiful tiles - and what a neat idea to frame your door.

What a neat idea! I really like your tiles a lot. I have thought of doing something along that line but so far...well, its still on "the list" lol. And the "having no purpose but to lay around being pretty" must be common...in my case its beads :) Can't say what is so fascinating about them but I just love to have them. I have actually made necklaces out of a few but designing jewelry is not my forte, sadly. I copy others pretty good though!

If you do get around to finishing your door project you simply must share with us!!!
