Hi all, I used to come around here a lot, tend to be more on FB these days although I do stop by here from time to time to see what other people are doing.  I tend to forget my password so end up just watching and not commenting  :(

Anyway, thought I would post my latest thing.  I have been getting interested in adding some moving parts to my little sculptures.  This is my first attempt.  I am still quite astonished I managed to get the gears especially to work.  It also has two sliding windows, three hinged window/door things, and propellers you can spin.  Used all kinds of materials although most of what is actually visible is polymer clay (with paint and stuff on it).

I have no idea what it is.  Dust collector basically.

Wow...that is quite an intricate dust catcher thingamabob! I've found i must create something in that genre every so often....kinda lets the imagination loose a bit.

Very clever "thing"!

Thanks, yes, it is really fun to work on something where you just go with whatever pops into your head  :D

Thanks  :D  Took way too long, ha ha.  A good chunk of my spare time for maybe six or seven months?  But I had never made anything like this before so was having to do test gears and stuff like that.  Learned a lot from it!
