Watch out for the off brands. They haven't been manufactured to the standards we like. I sometimes use the Michaels brand with my seniors class because it is cheaper but we do very simple things

with it.

What brand would you compare Michael's brand with?

I bought some once to use with my seniors class. It is very soft and kind of like Sculpey III. Not for caning, jewelry or sculptural work. Not worth the savings to me. A mix in, maybe.
