"We put [that data] into the system, and it is acting as a boost or a suppression...with low-ranking sources becoming suppressed."

Good. That means CNBC, CNN, and the New York Times will be suppressed, while Fox, Breitbart, and Gateway Pundit will be boosted...RIGHT!!!

Facebook Is Now Ranking News Organizations Based on ‘Trustworthiness’

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg claimed his platform has started to rank news organizations based on “trustworthiness,” with low-ranking sources becoming suppressed.

“We put [that data] into the system, and it is acting as a boost or a suppression, and we’re going to dial up the intensity of that over time,” declared Zuckerberg during a speech at the Rosewood Sand Hill hotel, with media executives in the audience on Tuesday. “We feel like we have a responsibility to further [break] down polarization and find common ground.”

Zuckerberg did not clarify how the “trustworthiness” of news organizations would be ranked.

According to BuzzFeed, Zuckerberg’s meeting at the hotel “included representatives from BuzzFeed News, the Information, Quartz, the New York Times, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, NBC, Recode, Univision, Barron’s, the Daily Beast, the Economist, HuffPost, Insider, the Atlantic, the New York Post, and others.”

Zuckerberg also reportedly declared his intentions to invest billions of dollars into “a combination of artificial intelligence and tens of thousands of human moderators to keep both fake news and deliberate propaganda at bay, especially in elections.”

“We’re essentially going to be losing money on doing political ads,” the Facebook CEO proclaimed. “The big miss is we didn’t expect these kind of coordinated information operations.”

Zuckerberg’s Announcement Means Final Remaining Conservative Voices on Facebook Will Be Eliminated by Election Day

Since the 2016 election Facebook has been cracking down on conservative and pro-Trump content.

Top conservative websites have seen a stunning drop in their Facebook traffic.
This was no accident. This was the plan.

In January 2017, Facebook began making algorithm changes to make sure conservative news was no longer so influential. The Gateway Pundit Facebook traffic has consistently decreased with each algorithm change.

A March 2018 study by The Outline organization found conservative publishers were hit the hardest by Facebook algorithm changes. The study also showed that The Gateway Pundit was hit the hardest.

In March 2018 Western Journal also published a study that found conservative publishers were hit the hardest by the recent Facebook algorithm changes. The report found that liberal publishers actually saw a 2 percent increase in traffic. Conservative publishers lost an average of 14 percent in traffic.

Facebook official Campbell Brown, a former anchor on NBC and CNN, told attendees at a recent technology and publishing conference that Facebook would be censoring news publishers based on its own internal biases. And they did.

Facebook's dating service is a chance to meet the catfisher, advertiser or scammer of your dreams

The love-seeking singles of Facebook's new dating service, privacy experts say, may not be prepared for what they'll encounter: sham profiles, expanded data gathering and a new wave of dating fraud.

Facebook - under fire for viral misinformation, fake accounts and breaches of trust - said this week it will soon offer a new dating service designed to help its users find love, giving the world's largest social network a uniquely intimate vantage point on its users' romantic desires and personal lives.

The service will allow people older than 18 to create a dating profile - separate from their main profile and invisible to their friends - that it shows to potential matches based on common interests, dating preferences, location and mutual friends, company officials said.

Using a button - not a swipe, as popularized by popular dating app Tinder - people will then be able to say whether they're "interested" or would rather "pass" on those potential partners, officials said. Matches will be shown the other person's first name, age, current city and photo, though users will also have the option of sharing their work, education and other biographical information. The service will begin testing in a few months.

Privacy watchdogs, advertising experts and industry rivals worry the service could expose users more acutely to the worst of the Web - scams, malicious strangers and other problems Facebook already has its hands full with.

"Privacy watchdogs, advertising experts and industry rivals worry the service could expose users more acutely to the worst of the Web - scams, malicious strangers and other problems," said Justin Brookman, director of privacy and technology policy at the advocacy group Consumers Union. "How will Facebook police that? Will they put the resources into safety? . . . Or will their thirst for engagement trump these other concerns?"

“They’re too scared to tell the truth and identify problems with an ideology and a religion in our country, because they’re worried about being called ‘racist’. “[The establishment] now realise that tag is dead. No-one cares anymore about being labelled as a ‘racist’. “So they’ve now introduced their new term: ‘hate speech’. What is ‘hate speech’?”

This suit needs to be brought in America also, and not just against Twitter.

Tommy Robinson at #DayForFreedom: ‘I’m Taking Twitter to Court to Prove Facts Are Now Treated as Hate’

Activist Tommy Robinson has told the #DayForFreedom free speech rally in London that he’s taking Twitter to court, to prove the social media giant is treating “facts” as “hate” at the behest of a censorious British government.

Robinson was introduced by Breitbart London editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam, who gave a short speech thanking the police officers on duty at the event, as well as the Antifa activists and mainstream media reporters who had shown up.

“Let’s have the arguments — because we can win the arguments; we are winning the arguments here today!” he told the cheering crowd.

Greeted by chants of “Oh, Tommy, Tommy! Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy Robin-son”, the activist said it was “unbelievable” to see so many people out supporting freedom of speech.

“The people of this country have been silenced for twenty to thirty years with the tag of ‘racist’,” he said.

“They have managed to silence people so they’re too scared to speak up when they see things that are wrong.

What is ‘hate speech’?” Robinson demanded.
