No ridicule here, this is a safe zone. All of us have gone through different ways of trying to quit. You name it, I have tried it. I am a big believer in whatever works for you. If I thought sticking carrots in my ears would help, I would try it. Now I am down to just trying little old me. So far I am standing up to the challenge, I don't know about tomorrow. Just stay on board, stay with us and we will all try to come out the other side. As far as getting nothing done, if I go any slower, I will be going backwards.
Welcome back, Anthony. There are a bunch of us "repeat offenders", but we will get there. Good for you having your partner for support. Here's to patience, not my best virtue, but I am learning.
Victory for another day ! Pepa is proud of you. How are you today ?
Thank you, Marge. I will read all you can give me.
You are very welcome.
Thanks for your welcome Brenda, I am a serial offender from way back, but determined to give it another go. There are no cigarettes in the house, whoopee first time ever, partner is doing well,
Keep up the good work...
One day, 21 hours, 30 minutes and 31 seconds. 39 cigarettes not smoked, saving $43.69. Life saved: 3 hours, 15 minutes.
It's been 1week !!!!!!!! Huzzah! I had an interview for a job today I really need, so freaking out over that really took my mind off the cigarettes for a couple of days!!!! 2 weeks here I come because N.O.P.E! Cheers everyone, keep on keepin on!
Glad to see you back, not giving up, and giving quitting another go. Good for you! And your partner! I’m sorry to hear about their health scare though and hope you’re partner is doing much better. I’m glad you’re able to do this together this time. Good luck and best wishes to you both.
