Voted 1 because it's obvious, everywhere Covid is going through the roof the statistics say the same thing, it's a wild fire raging through the unvaccinated, this is precisely the point of vaccines and achieving an uptake of 90% or higher to reach herd immunity.
San Francisco has a somewhat moderate-liberal mayor (ie she’s not a Marxist) and she went into Covid determined to keep her city safe. She has done a remarkable job no matter what one’s politics or beliefs on Covid are. Their schools and colleges are back in session. Their businesses are running. They are virtually Covid free, even though it’s a very densely populated area.
