My recent works.The materials for them are amethyst,rock crystal and Chinese seed beads.

Those are just lovely!!!

I had an article published for different gem stone spirals back in 1997.  It was my first ever published article.  I should have a pic of it on my web site if you want to see mine - http://www.violetbead.com it's on the site in the gallery section.  What stitch did you use for yours?  I have hoards of chips and I would love to make a rope like you have done.

Pamy, I looked through your gallery and liked it. As for my spirals, I made them according to the picture below(the green colour are seed beads and the orange colour are gemstone chips).I found the picture somewhere in the Web.If your chips are large and uneven, you may increase the number of seed beads strung BEFORE each chip to four or five( my spirals have four).

Those are just lovely!  They look so light and ethereal...  And from the diagram, it looks as if you used the Russian version of Dutch spiral.  I love that stitch!  I should play around with it some more.
