Is this not insulting?? From this mornings artfire newsletter:

"In addition to the new layout, the recently listed items on these pages will now be pulled from Pro sellers only (previously referred to as Verified sellers).   By showing recently listed Pro seller items on these pages, we are able to offer a higher quality visual first time shopping experience for buyers while maintaining our egalitarian ideals that every artist deserves their fair chance in the spotlight."

Really?? Because I don't shell out   $12  a month (the equivalent to 55 etsy listings) I am deemed a lesser quality? I've seen some pretty blurry photos from some of those "PRO" sellers.

I'm thinking it's time to head for etsy. Will need a new name though - how's Wind Dancer Studios sound to you - I like it.

I know it just blew me away. Here they'd been making changes that were good for everyone, I understood certain perks being for "pro" members only, it makes sense, but only Pro members on the front page and an ad on my page,  the inference is a basic member has a lesser quality and that just really bothers me.
