Got my first real ride in since DnFing  near 3 weeks ago.  It was nice, Although I didnt run into any good action , I was just happy to be on the road.

I was wanting to ride tomorrow some, so I called it in early after my tank ran dry. Told the wife it was just a short ride, but she said no it wasnt, I said yes it was.

I'm trying to go tomorrow too , since I'm lined up with a tire.  I need fuel control is only bad thing.

I had a very pleasant hour and a half on the backroads of South Carolina... really felt good to get the V-Strom out and just go with no set plan. Didn't ride anywhere I haven't been before, just meandered through a big loop of backroads. One good-hearted but ignorant cager tried to kill me with kindness ( why do they think it's good to give up the right of way at a 4-way stop????) and one emaciated hound that wandered into my lane but no real drama. The pooch wasn't chasing, it was just being a dawg <G>.

I really enjoyed that ride! Maybe I'll get one of the other bikes out in the morning...

I have to attack a few cars that were potential threats, but they got the message and held their place. Otherwise I was headed to La La Land, where Freedom Rings and Nobody around.

The Deer are Big this Year, and winter coats are ready, not a close call but I have to wait on 2 big Does to get out of the way.

I did get dog attacked right in the middle of a corner, but I slid by before he even touched the road.

Well glad you got a REAL ride in. I didn't get to ride yesterday; it was rainy off and on all day. Played basketball with Mikey in between rain showers and ran some errands.

Hey! Congrats. Glad you got a ride in and that you are finally getting a new tire. Can you do handyman jobs to earn money? My neighbor did that for a while.
I wish I could have rode. I had a lot of winter preperation projects to do, so I had to use the good weather to do. I wrapped pipes today. Fun, fun. Yuck.
