Let's start a list of books that people recommend for learning about ESP and other paranormal phenomena:

So far I can recommend:

The Conscious Universe by Dean Radin. Easy going popular science with understandable concepts.

and I'm 2/3 of the way through The Hidden Whisper by JJ Lumsden. This book is really cool. It explains all sorts of paranormal stuff whilst telling a story. I don't know if you remember Sophie's World from Philosophy 101 - but this is like that for the paranormal. Loving it.

Can anyone recommend Supernature? I was told it was good.

Em.

'Supernature' & its follow up 'Beyond Supernature' by Lyall Watson are superb. 'The Power of the Pendulum' by T.C. Lethbridge or any of his work are brilliant. I believe there is a web site devoted to Lethbridge's work. Also any of Dion Fortune's books, novels or otherwise should definitely be looked at.

'Beauty is a conflict between God & the Devil & the battlefield is the heart of man'.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Hi Em

A book that I couldn't put down was Memoirs of an Exorcist by David Devereux.  The back of the book says "He has methodically confronted and expelled malevolent spirits and other psychic entities from numerous disturbed locations, and has cleansed houses of violent poltergeist activity."  The author comes across as very down-to-earth, and to say that he's an unfazed professional is an understatement.

Another book I found fascinating was The Reconnection by Dr. Eric Pearl.  After 12 years of practicing traditional chiropractic, he suddenly became a healing vehicle of a different kind: a conduit through which healing energy flows.  There are so many different healing methods in the world today, this seems up-to-date and not affiliated with any religion.  The website, www.thereconnection.com, tells you a bit about the book, so you can see if it's the type of book you would like to read.

Welcome to the forum.
