David, after receiving an e-mail about the Budweiser employee in McFarland CA. refusing a delivery of beer on Sept. 11, 2001because the store proprietor was allegedly celebrating the attack., I found your post debunking the legend. You go on to say that, "Though there were documented reports of Muslims celebrating in other parts of the world, it seems rather implausible that terrorist sympathizers in the United States would risk reprobation (or worse) by rejoicing over the attacks in public." In fact there were many celebrations. I experienced Patterson NJ personally that day, you could not drive down the street. Early news reports showed the cheers and flag waving. By evening the reports had been squashed, presumably to avoid angry crowds from retaliating against the celebrants.

tonyverdi,

Thanks for your report. You say there were many celebrations. How many did you witness personally? Could you give us specifics, for example the street intersections at which you saw people celebrating? And the approximate times of day? This would be valuable info.
