You don't have to spend much money to study Latin.

Evan Millner ( who must be one of the most capable people on the planet ) has put together a course in CONVERSATIONAL Latin.

His podcasts are here: http://latinum.mypodcast.com/

They are based on G.j. Adler's 1858 Practical Grammer of the Latin Language. Both it and the keys to the exercises can be found free on Google Books for FREE.

The Grammer is here: http://www.google.co.uk/books?id=GJgAAAAAYAAJ
The lesson key book is here: http://www.google.co.uk/books?id=jIwAAAAAYAAJ&ie=ISO-8859-1

His pronunciation on the lesson podcasts is the reconstructed which is believed to be closer to what the Romans would have sounded like. So, you can sound just like a real ancient Roman!!

There is also a community site on ning: http://foeduslatinum0006.ning.com/

If you find yourself in London there are group meetings with Evan.

If you want to spend money I suggest you make a donation to Evan. The link is on the podcast site.

Hi,
If you are looking for CD's as opposed to mp3 files, then you can find a selection in Evan Millner's Latin audio recordings in his new online store at lulu. These are read in the restored classical pronunciation:
There are only a few available at present - each CD is based on a public domain text, so you can read along with the recording.
