The British old stock made more sense than the more recent ones!
Real democratic countries do not go at war with their neighbours -- that part is genuinely true for Western countries, but we fail to realise that since our leaders have invited a huge throng from the third word everyone is on the edge of a global war.
The general civilization of a family is symbolic of its internal unity, but its fading from the contemporary humanity, as are all figures of conventional society…. behaviour, training, celebration, service and faith have acquired disobedience and half-hearted quality which imitates nomadic life, predicated as we are on the worldwide space-rays.
Warriors still splash blood for the tyrants,
And their dark sadness shows their path;

Then the thugs prolong wars within wrath!
This should definitely become a song,

The use of gong is rare into such a discourse
Maybe providing a kind tender but not by force...

“Styles may change, details may come and go, but the broad demands of aesthetic judgement are permanent.”
-- Roger Scruton
