The local police union representing Springfield’s police department said in a statement that it is “disappointed” by the decision to terminate Lariviere’s employment, arguing that he made the comments as a private citizen.

That's nonsense. So-called "private comments" by a cop indicate his professional attitude and behavior. Anyone who celebrates a person's death is not fit to have an authority position. I think the police union should look to the laws of the land, not defend a white supremacist.

You mean how it is illegal to block traffic

Are you a blithering idiot, a sociopath or both?

Since when is the penalty for an alleged traffic violation the death penalty?

My opinion is he is both a blithering idiot and a sociopath, plus an Internet troll.

I never said it was. Although it is a simple fact, if you don't want to get hit by a car - don't play in the street. Even children know that.

Swamprat is ecstatic that his fellow white supremacist ran over and murdered that woman.

No, you didn't state a fact.

Heather Heyer wasn't killed because she played in the street.  She was killed because one of your white supremacist buddies deliberately killed her.  Your attempt to trivialize premeditated murder reveals you to be a sociopath, a white supremacist and a boring troll.

She was killed because an idiot ran his car down the road. But she was also one of many people that were in the street to be hit by that car. Any rally/large gathering I have attended, the police barricade the roads where people will be walking. They barricade it back a block from the action and have an officer or two stationed at each barricade.

You can see from the videos, the car drove unimpeded for several blocks before reaching the people in the street. If they were in the approved rally area, the streets would have been blocked with police presence. You don't see that in any video of the incident.

So yes, being outside of the rally/protest area -- she was "playing in the street".

You're a dishonest piece of bovine excrement. By your argument, anyone walking  back to their car from any event, be it a symphony concert or city-wide garage sale or anything that draws a crowd, once they're beyond the police barricades, is at fault if hit by an idiot or a murderous terrorist car driver.

And you cheer that death, troll.
