Wagner mercenary are in an armed uprising and have now taken several key military sites in Russia. Putin calls it an armed rebellion.

While many wish Putin gone, Prigozhin is not someone to wish for. To start, how to pronounce the name? Then there are all those letters. I had to copy/paste them here to get it right. His mercenaries are brutal. He frames it as a way to oust military leadership that caused the loss of 100,000 troops ... actually gave that number. Many he recruited from prisons.  Go figure.

To others the timing of this is very suspicious, the operation is actually a false flag to take attention away from .... Hunter Biden!  and the latest whistleblowers revelations and Pres Biden's failed rescue of the submersible.

Well, that didn't last long, kinda disappointing but maybe for the better.  It does seem rather strange that Prigozhin would capitulate like that and that anyone would trust Putin to let it all pass.

“My intelligence analysis suggests, Eric, that this is a classic false flag operation that’s been orchestrated by Putin and Prigozhin,” Fox security expert Koffler told the cable news host, to make Biden think Russia is no threat. 

I rather doubt that would be the reason if there is an ulterior motive.

The last couple attempt there was with Gorbachev and that ended confidence in him. We'll see what this did to Putin.

On the fifth night of riots: - 577 cars set ablaze - 74 buildings burned down - 719 rioters and looters arrested - 45 police officers wounded.

Cluster bombs are banned by other countries, they don't always explode promptly and the arsenal is aging. Getting rid of them by handing them over to Ukraine seems to be a good move, no?
