It looks like a very cheap 'bull pup'(? trigger forward of the chamber) that I might hesitate to even single-shot fire though it obviously is at least semi-auto.

Three children, three adults, female shooter dead

The Covenant School, founded in 2001, is a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville with about 200 students, according to the school's website. The school serves preschool through 6th graders and held an active shooter training program in 2022, WTVF-TV reported.

Saw that first thing this morning, I didn't dare read it, just can't take news of another these crazed threatened and raging acts some days.

Noting: at first I heard the shooter was a teenager, than a female, now someone identifying as female. Not that it makes a difference to this:
