No disagreement at all with the false claims of taking credit for the things that happened on his watch. When he introduced people's accomplishments Trump applauded their deeds. That does not imply he took credit for them. The Democrats sat still, disrespecting those accomplishments.

Why do you believe the political stuff you are told without asking if it makes sense? "Trump took credit for ... " is political nonsense. If Trump is applauding he is not taking credit for it.

Sorry, all I have ever Heard from Trump is self serving marketing.

What was the purpose of this speech if not this.

Are you basing your opinion on what you saw or what somebody else told you it was?

If Trump is applauding the accomplishments of others he is not taking credit for it. The economy? Trump did not manipulate the stock market. Black unemployment? He did not give them the jobs. He applauds the accomplishments of America.

The actions of a majority of the Democrats suggests an antagonistic conspiracy ... just like the Republicans did to Obama. Payback is a harsh mistress.

Not antagonistic conspiracy, just a spontaneous reaction to unsubstantiated crowing.

Trump´s comments in fact are not even accurate, even his positives have a dark side that he omits.

If he balanced his positives with down side facts, there would be a point.

His speech was merely mindless cheerleading, mindless applauding by his supporters.

The best way to "applaud" a country, is to praise it for what it gets right, while

not ignoring or rationalizing what it gets wrong.

so what your saying is if a person gets one thing wrong than everything he does is wrong

Countries, e.g. states are human creations, one applauds the good, castigates the bad.

G=G+1 for faulty logic, unrelated to my post.

Applauding a state for things it does that are bad, has nothing to do with what they have done that is good.

You are actually encouraging the bad, by praising the state, by ignoring it and calling those who don´t

bad.

Good and bad for whom?

What is good for one group may be bad for another. If you aid corporations those who have stocks in those corporations benefit but others may not. You can lower taxes on corporations but raise taxes on people.

Recognizing individual actions, as Trump did so many times in his speech, should have been applauded by all. The individuals were not recognized as Republicans or Democrats but as citizens.
