Absolutely THE HOTTEST TOPIC...EVER . . .
This video contains way more truth than most people ever want to hear, ... but it is packed with tremendously vital TRUTH: both in the prophetic words shared, ... AND the awesome testimony of a man who saw hell and was returned to earth to testify to what GOD showed him...
(about 10 minutes in length)
"Journey into imagination" sums it up pretty good. Imaginary! Not truth.
It is a commercial.
"Spiritual battle"? I see your point there. Yes, I understand your observation of an apparent battle;. But Jesus is not the answer except in your imagination.
"Shilohtc"? He relates a story he was told. "Hell and fire" is a myth he was told before. He can not tell fact from fiction.
It just isn't truth.
Yes, the end is always just around the corner. The world we know is subject to an end any time. The prophesies bare imaginary. We can always find something around us that fits if we twist it so it jives with our imagination.
Even for non believers, death means no more suffering, no pain, no further death, right?
Have you really given thought to this eternity thing? It is going to be pretty crowded.
An eternity to study for people who do not value knowledge???
An eternity with people who think feeling and believing is a substitute for thinking? Chaos!!!
An eternity to study the universe God created and how it works? Fantastic! Wasted on people who only want to believe the bible. We do not find the sciences of creation in the bible.
Jesus doesn't have anything to do with chemistry, physics, biology, genetics ... such things are the universe god created in my opinion.
Ignorance does not save, it enslaves.
Obviously I do believe in a god of creation. What I do not believe in is the myths of the bible and a god that tells you to believe instead of think. Jesus is okay for people too lazy (I can't think of another word for this) to study and think.
We agree a god made the universe. We disagree on whether how it works is worth studying.
Jesus is loving? Love is good. But it does not help one understand genetic mutation and evolution.
Feelings and thoughts are not mutually exclusive. Where reason fails us beliefs come into play, but beliefs are not a substitute for reason. Beliefs are not an end. They are temporary until better reasoning can be found. Beliefs must be tested.
Wrong! So technical and robotic you are LOL...
I agree, that feelings can fog the brain. But the spirit of God lives withing the saved people. It is never fake or a issue unless you don't believe in God.
I hope that you get a 2nd chance HWPeeler... when Jesus returns and you see for yourself.
Wrong! There is eternal life in a place called Hell. Worse part is (eternal separation) from a loving God. And God doesn't send anyone to Hell. God offers redemption to those who choose to believe in HIM.
You have 'Free' will to make your choice to believe. But I would hate to see you not make that choice.
I will have to see that return to believe it. Not expecting to have many years left it seems unlikely I will be around for it.
Many cultures have a heaven, not necessarily a hell. Vikings, for instance, imagine if one dies bravely in battle they go to a "heaven" and get to fight with their god against an opposing force in a battle of good against evil. Why is your myth more true than theirs?
Some just say we are reborn in another body depending on how we lived this life. The controlling process is pretty vague. Just myth.
Egyptians buried their pharaohs with their possessions so they would have them in an afterlife. If grave robbers didn't get the stuff museums did. Their heaven was just myth.
What makes you think yours is different?
The essence of my life (spirit, soul, whatever) stops when I die. I am just a chemical reaction. Thank god for having it? Yes, okay. But I do not want this melting flesh resurrected. "Spirit" doesn't get stored in a jar until some later date. We just die. Does that prospect frighten you?
Would it be difficult for Christians to realize their commitment to Jesus their whole life was a waste?
Never one minute wasted. I am just like you a human not a super hero. God is in control... and without trusting him my life would not be very fruitful. I failed many times! I made some very poor decisions but I learn from them. But for the most part I have had a very good life. We all have our strength and weaknesses. I would say your weakness is trying to disprove God. You spend so much time trying to figure it all out but you can't. Without (faith or belief) you are lost now and in the end. Jesus made my life better and I was blessed. I didn't miss out on anything.
