How are you doing Pamela?  I have a few thoughts.  I am glad you are taking and anti-inflammatory again.  Surgery disturbs a lot of things around the actual joint and inflammation may last awhile from the surgery and mobility also can cause inflammation for awhile.  Cold and damp weather cause pain and stiffness for me sometimes and I know you had a harsh winter, so that could be a contributing factor.  I hope you have seen your OS by now or have sought a second opinion.  When I had trouble after surgery I saw a physical medicine doctor-the one that monitored my PT in the hospital and at rehab.  I was having more pain because of too aggressive PT.  He stopped my PT after two knee replacements, because I was causing further injury in PT.  {do you try too hard to progress too fast like I did?} I did whatever the PT told me.  I later learned the key from a wonderful PT:  If I was in more pain the day of PT or the day after, I had done too much. My PT then cut back considerably on the exercises the next time I was in PT.  Are you doing simple stretching [not strengthening] exercises on your knee regularly? Do you ice after exercise?
