All of these listed are my favorites, but my #1 favorite is Laura with a close second being The Women.

I have seen so many great movies in my life, but as far as I'm concerned, Casablanca is the best movie ever made.

Casablanca is up there with the Godfather for most quoted screenplay of all time..."of all the gin joints in the world."

I have to say Wizard of Oz. My grandmother worked on it.

Back when smoking tobacco products gave romance to the silver  screen.

Smoking, drinking while trying to outsmart the 3rd Reich. It was a World War 2 thing.

Wow. In what capacity? I love this movie too. I can't imagine Shirley Temple playing Dorothy. It would have been a very different film.

Yep. Smoking romantically like Now, Voyager. My mom told me that was very sexy back then.

The Godfather has staying power in our quotable culture. I think it's because that type of criminal structure is always somewhere lurking in our society. I still find though that there are  some folks that will refuse to watch the series.

My favorite movie is Terry Gilliam's Time Bandits. The many layers of humor stretches the minds of young and old. And breaks the boundaries in possibilities. Terry Gilliam discounts his brilliance by considering the film an accidental surprise. And it almost didn't get made until George Harrison came on board. Anyway, a movie with many wonderful quotes I'll interject into my real life discussion from time to time.

Supreme Being: I should do something very extroverted and vengeful to you. Honestly, I'm too tired. So, I think I'll transfer you to the undergrowth department, brackens, more shrubs, that sort of thing...
