Art is art and no one should be obligated to be like what some people prefer. Some nudes are pretty and others are in poor taste, IMO. Why should writers conform? Harry Potter has been great for getting young kids to practice and improve reading skills. If our society can condone girly magazines, books full of profanity, adultery, rape and murder than let Rowling write what she wants.

People didn’t like her attitude because it’s not typical for the U.S. but she is in the UK, so I’m not sure how we can tell her what to think or write.  It doesn't stop people from having opinions, though.

I do not think people dislike her tax dollars.  If we do not stop nudity, why try to sensor anything else?

Because people are offended and have no tolerance for different viewpoints.  If something is bad, they want everyone to agree it’s bad.  Of course, we all know that everything has become controversial.

Lol. Someday we will either complain about every little thing or else we will learn to just shut up.

I’ve noticed some people enjoy complaining.  Not here, just in general.

Or non activists who are uncomfortable with other views.  I was raised to believe we must look at all sides, then make wise choices. Now it seems people pick sides first and the choices are already established.

I grew up the same way. Maybe that is why no one discussed politics at family gatherings? Family and friends were more important.
