I don't know how large an area you live in.  One of the advantages of living in a large suburban area is that there are choices.  I've been going to the same garage for quite a number of years -- maybe as many as ten.  THe same guy always worked on my Ford Taurus, now on my Chrysler van.   They're good, so it's hard to get an appointment.  It's a NAPA Auto Center.  I've really liked doing business with them.

I'm an AAA member.  When my van wouldn't start a week or so ago, I called AAA, and he charged my battery, then told me to idle the car for about 20 minutes.  I did.  Now I go out and start the car and let it run for awhile every two or three days to prevent the battery from being drained.  I'm not sure what caused it to drain.  I couldn't find anything that I left on.  I presumed it was because I had not started it in over a week.  My AAA membership has certainly paid for itself over the years (about 35)

Overall, being polite is always best, whether it’s popular or not,

Your battery recharges itself when you drive the car. If you aren’t driving or are starting the car, driving a few blocks and turning it off, the battery will not work at optimum function.

Now we are hearing more about why TP is scarce.  People are using more at home because they are not using work or restaurant bathrooms.  We can’t get as much imported. There is plenty of commercial grade product.  This article suggests shopping directly from restaurant suppliers if you can.

You’re welcome.  Apparently we are fighting with Canada. Who knew that?

Someone told me they heard TP will be fully stocked by mid May.  I can’t find anything about that online.

Our country has been fighting internally for a long time.  Everyone wants their own way and no one wants to compromise.  That is one reason I cut back on news coverage. I don’t want to always feel like I need to get angry at this group or that person. Especially now even locally. Two men were riding bikes down my street wearing masks pulled below their chins.  I got upset and thought, Why are they contaminating the air in front of my house.  Then I decided that was really weird on my part, and that I could go back inside and forget about it, which I did.

Oh, I sure know what you mean.  We've had five Amazon deliveries in the past five days.  Not a mask or pair of gloves to be seen!  I just leave them on the porch for a couple hours unless it's something susceptible to heat or attractive to critters.
