Churches vary from place to place. If tge bug ones really wanted to meet they should do it in cars in parking lots or maybe spread out at race tracks to start with. Of course, there is always the internet.

Internet services are not bringing money in.  Churches can’t continue unless they meet their budgets. The aren't selling a product and they rely totally on donations.

I just switched the station away from Pat Robertson. Someone is filling his collection box. He is on here twice a day.

He’s used to getting money that way and has it set up, but most churches are not.

Maybe churches need to rework expenses or how to bring in money.
Church bingo games were shut down in the 60's yet there are big casinos everywhere along with lottery machines and poker machines.

I have felt that for a long time.  I used to view a church budget regularly and I could not understand where their money was going.

My friends' had smoking, drinking parents and grandparents. Turned out their ggm had been from a religious family in Utah (not mentioning to protect the innocent) and was very devout to the huge church there, tithing 10% of her meager wages for many years, even during the Great Depression. Finally, she got to visit the church temple. She walked in and her feet sank into the very thick carpet. All she said to her family about her trip was "I tithe no more". She never did, either.
