All states with plastic bag bans have reversed them, as well as any bans on reusable cups, lids or straws.  Global emissions were down worldwide only 5.5% in April, even with no one driving or flying.  Are we deciding that bans and even all the carbon footprint policies maybe don’t make as much difference as we thought they did? Discuss.

There is a moratorium on grocery bags here, for now. Fred Meyer has pretty skimpy ones not good for much of anything. Doesn't take much more than a sneeze to see them go flying off the stove top to the floor. Costco has nice ones I save for garbage. I do not have a lot of waste. Takes 3-4 months to fill garbage can for pickup.

Plastic bags are back everywhere, and now I’ve heard all restaurants will be required to use plastic, throw away utensils.

Funny, I cannot remember the last time I was in a restaurant. I like to cook and I do not use junk food in my cooking.

I hate living in a synthetic world. Have very little of it in my house.

But plastics are nice for take out food so it doesn’t leak all over.
