Masks are an inconvenience and a pain to wear and uncomfortable and hard to get and good ones are expensive and they mess up your makeup and glasses and don't fit right and often look stupid.
Masks save Lives. The end, hehehe.

Exactly. He hauls huge RVs as part of his job and can put one in a space with 1/2" clearance on either side. Can back a 35-45 foot trailer up a winding dirt road without incident. And, is the best fly swatter I know. He's not a dr.

Ah, do you not have friends who put on makeup before leaving the bedroom?

And often what is important to the authors' bosses and the state school systems that are buying the textbooks and thus signing the paychecks, that determines what the authors include or exclude.
Oh, speaking of flexibility - the shop building was incredibly hot and I noticed the air conditioner blower was working full blast but no air was coming out. Turned out the A coils in the air conditioner were solid iced up.
So I pulled out the air filter, shut off the a/c, left the fan sucking to move a little bit of hot air over the ice, and found a ceramic space heater that was already sitting under the unit ready to turn on. Seems that had been a problem before. So I turn on the heater and went back to doing other stuff. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later I noticed air starting to come out the vents again.
Looked under the a/c unit into the air intake, and now there was no ice. All the hot air in the room, once a small path had melted through the ice, quickly transferred its heat to the idle coils and warmed up the entire heat exchanger to thaw more ice, which let more air flow, which melted more ice, and so once it started thawing it went real fast. So with no ice and the coils nice and dry, I flipped the switch to turn the compressor on again and viola - cold air.

I wonder if there is a course for properly wearing N95 masks. Probably can find a good tutorial on youtube...

Do you get distracted a lot by things breaking? It’s great you can fix them but doesn’t it take a lot of time?

That's why we need a few commercials maybe done either by truck drivers or actors who look stereotypically like truck drivers and know enough about the inside of a big rig to at least make the proper moves.
Scene: interior of an 18 wheeler cab. Driver is maneuvering the load up to a dock. Or into an equipment yard. Then he puts on his mask before unsealing the door to do the paperwork.
Driver: (through his mask) "It's a tough job hauling equipment to keep the country going. And part of that job now is to protect customers, family, food service, and other people I come into contact with from catching Covid-19 or giving it to them."
Freight handler: (also through mask) "And 80 percent of all people who have already caught Covid-19 and are able to infect others, show no symptoms at all."
Forklift operator: (also through mask) "Wearing a mask cuts the chances of spreading the virus to less than 1/10th compared to not wearing one."
Warehouse inventory person: (also through mask) "If both infected and uninfected are wearing masks, the odds of infection come down to around 1 in 70 compared to neither at the same distance".
wide angle shot - all persons wearing masks and staying 6 feet or more apart while handling the freight
all in unison: "And social distancing - no closer than six feet at any time, cuts the transmission down even more."
scene fade to a casino blackjack table. Dealer has an ace showing. Hand shows 20.
Narrator: "Never go all in when you should fold. Don't gamble your life or your families' lives. Social distance. Wear your mask properly. And don't give the virus an opportunity to spread."
scene fade to warehouse inventory person who is now at home. She coughs. Takes her temperature - she's running a fever.
voice on phone: "Mommy, when can we come home from Aunt Gertrude's?"
Warehouse inventory person: "After mommy has been well for 2 weeks"
Warehouse inventory person: (to camera) "I'm glad I wore my mask this past 2 weeks. I just wish everyone else on the bus did."
fade to scene of trucker going down the highway
Trucker: "I'm glad everyone wore their mask so I'm not carrying the virus from city to city."
