Who in the world likes cats?

Some of my favorite cats over the year are solid black.

But I have had a few calicos, plenty of orange and white tiger striped, and several gray tiger striped over the years. One of the sweetest indoor / outdoor cats started out as a white cat. He developed gray-brown highlights as he got older, but not true Siamese markings.

Leto (white cat), Furby (black cat), Chani (calico cat)

We've had every color in the book, I think.  This is Neko, our current Russian Blue...his eyes are bright green!

He Rules this house:  that's our poor suffering mini Aussie he is pestering.

Yours too!

Awwww. What a beautiful cat.

The feral menagerie at feeding time. Well, semi-feral because 2 of them will let me pet them, the others eat and run.

All of my indoor cats were once feral kittens.

Leto snoozing while outdoor electrical work gets done last winter before the pandemic. Or in the year 0 B.P. while this would be year 1 A.P.

Some of the orange cats, comfortably getting warm on the anti-fatigue mat I was using to lie on underneath the porch while installing conduit. It was below freezing outside when this was taken, and of course then it got dark at 6 PM.

another look at the 3 musketeers

A rare appearance of Stilgar, busy rubbing and purring, who seems to be a community cat. I did get him hauled to the vet and vaccinated with the indoor cats, during the appointment that was supposed to be for Leto who conveniently was hiding somewhere.

One of the orange cats snoozing on top of some stuff in the shop building. I think he sneaked in there, and was stuck for a day but got rid of rodents while he was there.

Furby and Chani taking over a computer chair for a nap.

I lost count. How many do you have?

We tried the "working cat" program for Humane Society but out of 4 cats and five kittens, we only ended up with one, Mrs Brown, 95% feral!  She comes to my husband and escorts him to the feed area, but he can't pet her.  She hangs out with Cassie, the Aussie, but isn't fond of our new pup, Foxie.  I suspect we've lost several to coyotes and there's a cat hating dog down the road.

Gorgeous well cared for kittens - now I get your nickname! The
