I have an extra large Cuisinart and use the largest blade to slice small red potatoes. I an not good at slicing mine with a knife.

Yes, but only small red ones. cooks faster. Some serve it warm. I prefer it cold.

It is good both ways.
I used to volunteer to cook Middle Eastern food as a fundraiser at a small church. I would cook during the service. Got everything on the table in time. I think I may have cut the potatoes at home to save time. Also made lentils and rice.

I have had a lot of exposure to ethnic foods, which to some people aren’t ethnic at all, but common place.
