Right this moment it's 105 degrees F. And it's probably going to hit 106 before it chills down into the 70s in the wee hours of the morning.

At least you get 70. Some places don’t cool down at night when it’s very hot.,

A month ago the overnight low was the high 80s. In another couple of months we should get some frost overnight.

Yes, it is hard to believe. I bet you don’t get trick or treaters.

If I got trick or treaters I'd be very surprised. But we have had freezing weather on and before Halloween. It even snowed one Halloween here, although not recently.

We are more citified and we don’t get any anymore. They all go to parties or to the mall.  This year, they won’t go anywhere.

Good old fashioned trick or treating is yet another casualty of the upheavals since the 1960s.
