I am sitting in Fred Meyer. Just purchased a Microplane spiralizer on clearance for $2.99,marked down from $14.99. It is two tubes attached together and each one has a sharp blade in it. I guess they sort of shave very thin pieces off the vegetable. Oddly enough, all the other spiralizers are gone.. Either cleared out or sent back. I found mine on the clearance table.

It sounds like a nice one. Let me know how it works.

Zucchini is easy. Cucumber, for salad.  Carrots taste good but would be harder with a small device.

What is big and what is small.?
I am concerned about the manual strength needed.

Well, if I was going to use a lot of carrots or potatoes, I would probably get an electric one.  A hand held can cut a lot of vegetables,

Will have to get out my Cuisinart blades and compare. I think there are about a dozen.

No. Much too tired when I got home at 6:30. Barely remember eating leftover soup for dinner.
