That could be any of the queen's children, their being the senior royals. By not saying who it was, they are avoiding further controversy. Bad enough that someone said it without calling out who it was.

When someone is given the title to a Duchy, such as that of Sussex, they traditionally derive an income from that. That may be part of what was cut off, also the money to pay for security detail. Because Archie was not given a title, he was not entitled to security which could put his life in danger. Even with security, someone made it into the queen's bedroom years ago. At least that was harmless. Would you take a chance on your child's life?

I don't care about their titles or their income, but the bottom line is they are human, they are an interracial couple raising a child together, and they live under a virtual microscope. Can't we just leave them to get on with it.

I have no criticism for them declining the title but they should not whine about the income.  Those are all business decisions that should have been addressed before they left, not after.

We didn’t put them under a microscope in any way that they didn’t do to themselves.  I ran a professional acting from since 2002.  We always warn parents if they want privacy to make decisions that protect their privacy.  It’s never guaranteed when one is a public figure and must actively be sought. One of our members’ children had a single guest spot on Law and Order when she was 8. After the episode aired, she had a stalker who found their family home.  They had to sell their house and move to a gated community to escape.  That was one minor TV role!  So I’m well aware of the cost of being a public figure. Megan and Harry knew that before they chose to bare all to Oprah. So I don’t buy that “we” are doing anything to them.
