Some are downright corrupt.
Here is a good example of many corrupt ones in the same department.

There goes Forbes. They are switching to a paid only model. They say you get four free links, but I couldn’t close out the subscription window.
I’m not surprised they are looking for ways to make more money. They aren’t paid enough. They should be increasing their salaries so they aren’t forced to become criminals to support themselves. They couldn’t get rid of the police but they underfunded them.

Could you not see the article? I still can but am not subscribed to them.

No, but I use a lot of blockers so it may have triggered something. Wow, so they have enormous salaries and a re just criminals. Why weren’t they suspended from their jobs as well as from the extra work?

Here is a follow-up. Obama DOJ created the system to stop corruption and turned itself into a corrupt entity! Investigations are still ongoing. Thus far, one or two have been forced to resign, the rest are still under investigation.

It needs to be cleaned up no matter who started it or allowed it to happen.

It look like they're taking the whole ordeal seriously and are attempting to get to the bottom of it and persecute all those involved in the scam. Otherwise, it will mar their reputation going forward in the future.

They have to. PDs are already under close scrutiny and attack. This will add fuel to it. Big cities police departments can have pockets of corruption or inefficiency. I rad a horrible story of a man who was killed in a hit and run in NYC or maybe badly injured permanently and the police claimed there was nothing they could do because they caught the car on a traffic cam but not the driver’s face. The driver was someone important. The victim was an immigrant.

Yes, there is corruption in a lot of Police Departments, but it's mainly in the Democrats where most of them go unpunished.
They need to take responsibility and persecute those who do not abide by the law. Just because they are police officers doesn't mean they should be above the law. In fact, just the opposite should be true, they should be held to a stricter code than we ordinary people.

I would like it if criminals were even held to some standard and consequences.
