Did you see the latest drama? Her parents are suing the police for $50 million and the Landries are basically saying they don’t deserve anything. The amount and suit seem outrageous but why is the family of the murderer fighting with them? Wouldn’t they want to keep a low profile? Or do they have their own lawsuit planned?

As for the victim's parents... I think they may just have a case.

As for the culprit's parents... hmmmm... you would have to ask the lawyer.

But as I don't trust lawyers, I wouldn't believe anything they said either.

But when millions of dollars are involved, everybody wants in on a cut!

It’s a strange set of circumstances, but this whole case has been strange.

Well, let's put it into perspective:

What is the worst case scenario if they loose? Nothing is gained by anybody and the police are off the hook.

What is the worst case scenario if they win? Police image will be tarnished... fueling more Democrat calls to defund the police.

Does that help remove some of the strangiety?

Somewhat.  I don’t blame her parents for being upset, but his parents won’t win anything.

Yes, I've heard stranger things...

Answer me this:

1) What are the chances of the victim's parents winning against the police?

2) What are the chances of the victim's parents and the culprit's parents winning against the police?
