Funny but Ivermectin is DX  merely an anti-inflammatory and there is a formulation for humans.

And not so funny... but seriously... Ivermectin has performed a miracle here in Japan. So maybe Americans and Canadians should listen more to the talking horse named Mr. Ed... Walter! (* GRIN *)

The new Pfizer drug Paxlovid is basically reworked Ivermectin.  It has a different chemical composition but does the same thing less efficiently.  They are fighting back and saying thst isn’t true, but it doesn’t make sense that they have all but banned ivermectin but ar going to approve essentially the same thing.

It's about money and politics.

Ivermectin is $20, their essentially the same, but slightly less effect vaccine is $720. I mean... it's only a 3600% increase! </sarcasm off>

The biggest difference is they make nothing from the Ivermectin, but rake in big bucks with their version of it. And they've kept the cheaper and better solution off the market due to their monopoly, the Democrats and the liberal news media all creating fake news stories about it being some kind of horse medication.

Lies, lies, lies...

Wouldn’t everyone turn it down because it’s bad Ivermectin?

Well, back to the Ivermectin discussion...

There is a Japanese article from the Yomiyuri Newspaper that came out Aug. 19th. It's all in Japanese and the site does have an English page for that newspaper, but that specific article is not in their English pages. ???????????????????????????????????? : NEWS?? : ??·?? : ???? : ????????? (yomiuri.co.jp)

I have however, taken the liberty to Google Translate the page for you:

"Now, use ivermectin," said Haruo Ozaki, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association.
2021/08/19 10:55

POINT
¦ Papers have been published one after another that ivermectin is effective in both prevention and treatment of the new corona, but its use has not progressed in Japan, which has already been regarded as a "country of use".

¦ It should be used now that the infection explosion is progressing, but there are problems such as lack of ivermectin and not being covered by the government's side effect damage relief system.

¦ If the Japanese version of the Emergency Use is quickly prepared and can be used by doctors in the field, it can be administered to patients waiting at home or undergoing medical treatment. The government should actively promote its use.
During the Tokyo Olympics, Delta strains originating from India raged, and the number of infected people continues to increase. Why is Japan not trying to use ivermectin, which has been reported to be effective in clinical trials in other countries with few reports of side effects? On August 5, we had an urgent interview with Mr. Ozaki, the chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association, who had been proposing effective uses of ivermectin from early on.

The peak of infection spread that is not yet visible

??It seems that the explosive spread of infection, which is also called the 5th wave, is still rising. The number of people waiting at home and receiving medical treatment is increasing rapidly. How is the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association responding?

"When the number of people waiting at home and receiving medical treatment increased sharply in the third wave of January, this was no good, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association and the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association worked together to build a system with the goal of 24-hour support. We are now able to handle up to 37 of the 47 district medical associations. However, the current situation where more than 1000 home caregivers are piled up every day is beyond the limit. , Vaccination, medical examination, home visit, etc. are not available. Now, the health center is coordinating hospitalization. There is also a hospitalization coordinating center in Tokyo, but there is a system that can quickly accept and treat suddenly changed corona patients. I haven't gotten to the point of being established. "

Many clinical trial results are "effective for both prevention and treatment"
??When you read the papers on clinical trials of ivermectin published in the world so far, there are many examples that are effective for both prevention and treatment.

"I am aware that there are many papers that ivermectin is effective in the prevention and treatment of corona, mainly in Central and South America and Asia. There is no effective therapeutic drug, although it is necessary to deal with patients who develop one after another. Vaccines are not in time. In such an imminent situation, there is a paper that ivermectin works for corona, so it is a natural response for clinicians to try using it. Doctor-led clinical practice That's why many test papers came out. "

Ivermectin
--Usually, pharmaceutical companies conduct large-scale clinical trials to see the effects, but ivermectin has been selected by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a silver bullet for tropical diseases such as onchocerciasis (river blindness) and lymphatic filariasis. It is a drug approved by countries around the world more than 20 years ago. If it is effective for the new corona, it is not applicable, but it is unavoidable that we decided to use it in a pandemic.

"That's right. The medical field of a pandemic is a battlefield. It's the same as a field hospital. Patients are brought in and their condition deteriorates one after another and they die. So I can understand the feelings of the doctor who clings to this and administers it. "

It’s this a serious article or humor? Language translation aside, it seems over the top. On another note, a friend had Covid and was denied all treatment.  Told to stay home, take vitamins and wait it out.  She got over it but she had access to medications and treated herself.  Recently, her child and the child’s spouse got it and were treated immediately. They got well very quickly. It’s ironic that the new Pfizer drug which is supposed to cure Covid quickly is reworked Ivermectin.  It does exactly the same thing that Ivermectin does but it was given a new name. It’s also very expensive.

There is no humor to it what so ever. The article was in the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper (very well known and popular newspaper) and it was on their front page.

During and for several weeks after the Olympics, Tokyo was seeing over 5,000 new cases per day. 10,000 in 2 days, 15,000 in 3 days. And shortly after this article came out, he also made a public news statement about it and Japan has started using Ivermectin since then and for four or five weeks straight now, the number of new cases in Tokyo have been two digits. Just recently, the most recent new cases are like 15 or 17 per day.

Ivermectin was actually created in Japan more than 20 years or maybe even longer ago. It was initially dubbed a "Super Drug" like Penicillin. But it had not been used on humans in Japan yet. However, studies from India and South Africa showed that it worked for Covid too. He performed several trials with informed individuals who gave their permission to try it and the results were astounding. That's when this story and his TV interview came out and the drastic drop in Tokyo's numbers are the proof.

The biggest difference between Phizer and Ivermectin is that Phizer is not to be given to patients who are already positive. Ivermectin is given to patients who test positive. So whatever they added to the Ivermectin to make Phizer... it's NOT to be administered to people who are positive, but I'm not exactly sure why.
