They were even crazier than what we see now.  Thank you for posting.  It puts all the weirdness into perspective.  Would you want to be the intern holding the bucket?

I thought it was a relief to know it wasn't just the times we live in.  DS spent six months floating around the governors office as a sr in college and was sent as a "spokesman" to DC Senate meetings for a non profit and he had some funny stories to tell.  One was about the tv live shots taken outside of the house and senate buildings when a vote that media thought was important was due.  Gave me a whole new view of those interviews after the vote.

Yes, a lot of it is staged for the camera.  Also, those politicians who hate each other at work and on camera, are often best friends outside of the limelight.  

His stories of congress critters strolling along behind the microphone with a dead phone to their ear and exaggerated hand movements and facial expressions just in case the camera is live were hysterical!

They are all actors.
