He shot outside the school for 11 minutes before he entered the school.
That's absurd... I'm sure the police were contact after the first 1 or 2 shots... so it took the police more than 11 minutes to get to the scene?

A teacher propped the door open with a chair at 11:27
What door and why did they prop it open instead of propping it closed making entry more difficult?
Showtalk said...
When they heard the shots, why wasn’t the school immediately locked down?
The teachers who are still alive will have to answer that.
Showtalk said...
The police were on scene two minutes after he entered the classroom.
So it took the police 13 minutes to arrive.

They had multiple 911 calls from inside the schools from teachers and students. Why weren’t they asking locations and using computerized maps to find out where the students were and exactly where he was almost instantly?
You would have to ask the police and teachers that.

Border patrol were on scene and begged to enter. The police told them no. They aired an hour before entering. Why? A lot of mistakes were made by police but the border patrol are trained in tactical warfare. They could have easily have taken him out almost immediately with many fewer casualties.
That was a totally stupid call to say the least.
As sad as this may seem, it sounds like the wanted to maximize casualties! Otherwise they would have done the exact opposite of everything they did!!!

I got this in an E-mail from Rick Scott... he's my Senator.
This week, following the horrific shooting that took the lives of 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, Senator Rick Scott spoke on the Senate floor in support of his bill with Senator Ron Johnson, the Luke and Alex School Safety Act, named in honor of Luke Hoyer and Alex Schacter who were tragically lost in the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018 in Parkland, Florida. This legislation would codify an existing federal school safety clearinghouse providing parents and education leaders with resources and best practices to help create safer schools and work to prevent future violence. After Senator Scott spoke, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer blocked the bill's passage.
As Senator Scott keeps Uvalde and the families that have suffered this tremendous loss in his prayers, he continues his fight to pass the Luke and Alex School Safety Act and the EAGLES Act to keep kids and teachers safe in Florida and across the nation.

Hannity has a lot to say about Beto's interruption...

Hannity makes excellent points before even getting to Beto. His comments aren’t political but rational. Politicians, celebrities, stadiums, concert venues are all protected by people with guns. Innocent children are never protected. We not only lose them in school shootings, we lose a lot more on the streets.

All partisan. The bill was blocked because a Republican proposed it.
Nope... it was blocked because the Democrats don't want to protect our children. That's the way I see it... otherwise they should have voted for it to protect the children. Blocking it means they don't want to protect the children!

Too many things went wrong all at the wrong time.
Why did the teacher prop the door open just minutes before the shooter arrived? Very suspicious if you ask me. And it' a back door to boot. Why prop it open at all? If it took the police 30 minutes to get into the classrooms, had that door been closed, it would have taken the shooter at least 30 minutes or more to get into the school!
As for why the police didn't shoot through the window from the outside is also something I thought about and they mentioned that in this video too.
Don't police have bettering rams to break down doors?
