It doesn't matter what party you claim to belong to... it doesn't matter whether you want to hear this or not... but we're all feeling the pain of paying higher prices for everything... this is just about gas alone... it doesn't even begin to discuss all the other necessary but inflated items.

Cost of gasoline sharply increase after Russia invaded Ukraine in late-February, disrupting the global energy market

U.S. motorists will pay roughly $704 more this year at the gas pumps than they did last year, according to the website Gasoline Misery Index

The site bases its index on data from the American Automobile Association, the Energy Department and MetroMile.com and says the projected increase is at an annualized rate.

"As long as the supply remains tight, it will be hard for crude oil prices to fall and consumers will, in turn, face higher prices at the pump," AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross recently told dcbusinessdaily.com. "It now costs drivers in the U.S. about $23 more to fill up than a year ago."

On Friday, the national average price per gallon of gas was hovering around $4.28.

At the start of May, AAA reported that prices continue to rise week-over-week, primarily due to the cost of crude oil, which is currently about $100 per barrel.

At the beginning of 2021, the price of gas per gallon was $2.33. The current price – $4.28 – represents an 84% jump.

Though President Biden has routinely released oil from the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve – most recently $180 million barrels of crude oil in March – the effort has done little to bring down the soaring price of gas.

The administration also recently expanded federal the program that allows U.S. oil company to lease federal land to drill for oil. However, say Biden has yet to announce a strategic, comprehensive plan to  increase the country's domestic oil production and lower gas prices.

Strategic oil reserves are not the solution. They are only supposed to be released in times of complete devastation, not for political purposes because prices go up.  They are showing incredible ignorance and irresponsibility.

Yep... and a plan to restore those strategic reserves MUST be set into place ASAP before they can attempt to use more!!!

One party likes to save reserves for the future. Cash, gas. The other sees them sitting there and thinks, Oh, they aren’t being used, we should find a way to deplete them.  Well, not in those words, but even considering uses them for anything less than a severe national emergency shows a level of irresponsibility we should all be angry about.

We should not only be angry about, but ensure they stop depleting our reserves for their own whims and to replace what they've already removed ASAP!!!

Is anyone able to stop them? It is in everyone’s best interest to do so not just one party.

We the people... we could go to D.C. and march on the Capitol, but then Pelosi would have local police arrest everybody and place them next to the Jan 6 people they already have locked up.

Outside of that, the only other thing everybody can do is vote Republican in the mid-terms... even if they're Democrat. But many won't do that. So we're in the quagmire we're currently in. A government out of control!!!

What?  After all this time, you still believe that.  No, they KNOW exactly what they are doing, exactly.  It is being done by design.  The United States MUST be brought down and destroyed.

They are going to lock us down again.  Sometime before the November elections.  They need to steel those too.  However, if the majority of Americans obey, and agree to the lock down,  we are done.  They will use their tried and true tactic, FEAR.
