Depending on the era you grew up... you could have paid a nickel, a dime or a quarter to play anywhere from 1 ~ 3 songs on a jukebox.

In the older days, you could find jukeboxes located in diners, bowling alleys, bars, etc.

I have put money in a jukebox. You can still find them in old style diners.

In the early 70s we hung out at the bowling alley and they had juke box and 6 pool tables and 5 pinball machines. One song for a dine or 3 for a quarter

Same here. They had pool tables and pin ball machines too, but I don't remember how many.
