Or they stop the camera, get him on track and start up again.

Probably that, too, and likely some CGI and now maybe deepfake technology to fix any really bad gaffes and make him appear more alert and lucid than he really is.

Heck, it wouldn't surprise me at all if, somewhere in his 2nd term, they even do a full-blown "Weekend at Bernie's" cover-up.

It wouldn’t be hard to make him look more alert than he is. He’s in bad shape.

LOL...

Even a bad deep fake would look better than he does! (* CHUCKLE *)

This pool has many votes. Apparently it resonated with people.

Well, I'm kind of surprised they aren't already using some CGI to make him look alert.

Even CGI can’t make him look alert.

A few seconds delay, run it through an AI set up to deep-fake (or really more accurately, auto-tune) any movements that pass outside of a motion capture template, or insert a more appropriate reaction to anything that looks like he's asleep or such.

It was science fiction only about 3 years ago. With the resources available at that level, a rack of blade servers with a few teraflops of capability ought to easily be able to do it.

And to drown out any live streaming that happens, just flood the platforms with the deepfake version rendered from multiple "camera angles" and then have those sock puppets all start claiming that the purported real livestreams are fake. Being able to create a few million fakes for pennies, then can fool platform moderator bots into flagging the real footage as disinformation just from the sheer numbers.

But don’t they need some expression on his face to build a different response? He always looks lackluster and out of it. They can’t fake him into looking alert,

Yep, and I'm sure someone is trying to attract the talent who can do a good job of that as we speak. However, maybe they ran onto some other apparently insurmountable obstacle to set up the facial expression tuning in a way that looks convincing enough, so they are muddling along now.

My suspicion is tuning facial expression keeps churning out results that fall into the uncanny valley of creepiness, so deploying that has been on hold for a while until they can find people who really understand how to do that.

Most of those types are already employed in the tech bro and making a lot more than they could possibly make from a government black budget or even an under the table DNC contract.

Like, if you are already making $10 million where you're at, and allowed to do acid and weed and sometimes Molly, on the job, and spend the day working while high as a kite, with free massages and sushi bar, why would you give all that up to have to pass drug and alcohol tests, meet stiff grooming standards, pass a security clearance for TS/SCA, all for maybe $35k a year. Show of hands? (no hands go up)

It would be creepy and fake.
