NPR Issues Correction, Admits There Is Evidence Proving Male Athletes Have Advantage over Females

By ARI BLAFF
March 27, 2023 2:25 PM

NPR issued an official correction following a story published Friday which argued “there is limited scientific research” supporting the idea that males have a “physical advantage” over females in competitive sports.

“Correction: An earlier tweet incorrectly stated there is limited scientific evidence of physical advantage. Existing research shows that higher levels of testosterone do impact athletic performance. But there’s limited research involving elite trans athletes in competition,” the outlet’s official Twitter account noted on Sunday afternoon.

Appended to the clarification was an annotated “Context” feature provided by Twitter citing a British Journal of Sports Medicine academic article that showed gender differences between female and male athletes, even after hormone-replacement therapy. The feature also included links to numerous studies which contradict the outlet’s claim that there is “limited research involving elite trans athletes in competition.”

While such medical interventions diminished performance differences in some categories, “transwomen still had a 9% faster mean run speed after the 1 year period of testosterone suppression,” the team of researchers concluded.

Elon Musk, the social-media platform’s owner, commented on the announcement thanking NPR “for correcting yourself.”

The media organization initially made the claim after the World Athletics Council, the governing sports body regulating international competitions such as cross county as well as track field, ruled that transgender athletes would be barred from competing against biological women.

Are Trans Women Now the Best Women?

The publicly-funded media company cited a 2020 report by Human Rights Watch claiming that transgender women have no competitive edge over biological women when it comes to physical performance and insisted that the World Athletic Council’s ruling relied on flawed evidence.

“Even without strong evidence of an advantage,” NPR noted, “the council has scrutinized the performance of athletes such as South African runner Caster Semenya, the world’s fastest woman in the 800 meters.”

Semenya, a female athlete, was described by NPR as “raised female and . . . legally female, [who] was born with XY chromosomes and has a naturally high testosterone level.”

NPR pointed to the World Athletics Council’s decision as part of a growing trend of “moving away from trans inclusion” in sports citing the governing bodies for international swimming and rugby announcing similar moves in recent years.

On Thursday, World Athletics Council president Sebastian Coe announced the body’s decision to bar transgender women from female competition.

“The Council has agreed to exclude male-to-female transgender athletes, who have been through male puberty, from female world-ranking competitions from March the 31st of this year,” Coe said during a press conference in Monaco.

“We cannot, in all conscience, leave our transgender regulations as they were at five nanomoles per liter for at least one year when we were unsure about the impact of doing so across all our disciplines.”

The news was welcomed by Karen Long, an Australian runner that competes in 100, 200, and 400-meter races.

“It was a relief to hear that transgender athletes will be banned from competing in the women’s category in athletics. I believe the governing bodies received lots of pressure in the form of complaints from female and male athletes on this issue and it forced them to reconsider,” Long told National Review.

Cynthia Monteleone, a fellow runner who is competing in a World Masters Athletics competition in Poland this weekend, recounted an earlier experience when she realized that at a 2018 track meet one of the contestants was born male.

They are finally coming around. They need to admit their policies so far have been anti women.  We’ve said it before but you don’t ever see trans men demanding to participate in professional men’s sports.

Nope, but instead, you constantly see things like this... another women's record broken:

Trans Runner Credits “Girl Power” For Beating 14K Women in London Marathon Only Months After Racing in NYC as a Man

By Margaret Flavin
Apr. 25, 2023 12:40 pm

A runner, who raced as recently as November 2022 as a man, is celebrating “girl power” for beating almost 14,000 women in the London Marathon on Sunday.

The New York Post reports:

A transgender runner is under fire for crediting “girl power” for beating nearly 14,000 others in the female category of the London Marathon — just months after racing in New York as a man.

Sports bra-wearing racer Glenique Frank — who ran the New York Marathon on Nov. 6 as Glen Frank — went viral after stopping to talk to a BBC reporter covering the UK race Sunday.

“London is the best!” the 52-year-old runner said of her 17th marathon, which last year included Tokyo and Chicago and will include all of the “six majors,” including Berlin and then Boston.

“Girl power!” Frank said of her marathon efforts while flexing her bulging biceps above rainbow-colored armbands.

The runner — whose social media still shows photos of her running earlier races as a balding man — ended the mid-race chat to gush about how her “beautiful son” is expecting a baby.

“So I’m going to be a gran — Granny G!” Frank said before running off, draped in a blue, pink and white transgender flag.

The celebratory remarks soon became the latest lightning rod for critics opposed to transgender athletes competing against biological women.

Two-time Olympian Mara Yamauchi weighed in on the travesty.

Frank ran in November of 2022 in New York under the name Glen Frank.

Below are the results as posted to the New York Road Runners website.

If you won't allow you children to transition... we'll take them away from you!!!

BREAKING: State of Washington Passes Bill Allowing Government to Take Minor Children Away From Parents If They Refuse To Agree to Gender Transition Surgery

By Patty McMurray
Apr 14, 2023

The Washington State Legislature has officially lost its mind.

According to Seattle, WA journalist Katie Daviscourt, the Washington State Legislature passed SB 5599 last night, which allows the state to legally take children away from their parents if they don’t consent to their child’s gender transition surgeries.

All Democrats voted YES.

All Republicans voted NO.

Democrat Washington State Senator Marko Liias issued a statement when the bill passed, saying:

“Under current law, if a child who has run away from home goes to a licensed shelter, that shelter is required to notify the parents unless a compelling reason applies. The bill allows certified shelters to contact the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in lieu of parents in certain additional instances, such as when a youth is seeking reproductive health services or gender-affirming care.”

The progressive lawmaker explains why the government should strip parents of their rights to make critical, life-altering decisions for their minor children and give them a place to live with people who agree with the mutilation of minor children.

“This bill is an important step in ensuring young people across the state have a roof over their heads during an already challenging period in their life,” said Liias. “While we hope that every child has a supportive family that will provide them with acceptance and the care they need, it’s crucial that we provide housing options to those in crisis.”

He continues:

The legislation would ensure that children who may not have supportive families at home do not end up on the street but instead have shelter when seeking these protected health services.

“This bill is such an important step towards protecting our at-risk youth in Washington,” said Danni Askini, Executive Director of Gender Justice League. “It takes immense courage and bravery for trans youth to come out to their family and ask for support. All young people in Washington State should have the right to be safe, true to themselves, and to live free of violence. This bill helps us ensure the safety and opportunity of some of the most vulnerable young people we work with.”

The stories of minor children going through “transition” surgeries who now regret it are exploding on social media. In November, we wrote about one such story that is absolutely heartbreaking.
A formerly transgender teenager from California is suing the medical group and hospital that encouraged her to undergo a gender transition at the age of 15, citing this as the only option for her to break free of her mental illness and live a happy life.

Chloe Cole, an 18-year-old female, was put on puberty blockers at the age of 13, causing joint pain, weak bone density, and continuous UTI symptoms. She had a double mastectomy when she was only 15, and was prescribed puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones at the same young age. Now, three years later, she deeply regrets these permanent, life-altering decisions.

Chloe Cole, 18

Now, Cole is suing those responsible for encouraging her to make a medical transition while still a minor. On November 9, her legal team submitted a letter of intent to sue The Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, and several doctors who “performed, supervised, and/or advised transgender hormone therapy and surgical intervention for Chloe Cole when she was between 13-17 years old.”

The letter explains that the medical personnel involved in this case “coerced Chloe and her parents to undergo what amounted to a medical experiment by propagating two lies.” The first lie that the defendants are being accused of is “falsely [informing] Chloe and her parents that Chloe’s gender dysphoria would not resolve unless Chloe socially and medically transitioned to appear more like a male.”

You have no right to opt-out your children from LGBTQIA+ indoctrination... it's required reading even if you don't like it!!!

Maryland School District Removes Parental Right to Opt-Out of Certain Curriculum, Makes LGBTQ-Themed Books Required Reading

By Cassandra MacDonald
Apr. 11, 2023 6:55 pm

The Montgomery County School District in Maryland has removed parents’ rights to opt their children out of certain parts of the curriculum and has made LGBTQ-themed books required reading.

The district has made multiple controversial books mandatory reading for its English language arts curriculum as part of an “LGBTQ-inclusive reading list.”

“MCPS keeps painting these books as rainbow unicorn which they are not,” Moms for Liberty Montgomery chapter president Lindsey Smith told Fox News.

Smith said her three-year-old was assigned a book called “Pride Puppy” and an ABC book with images of drag queens under “Q for Queen.”

The report explains, “while several parents requested a policy to opt out of these books, a recently updated policy by the school board insisted that students will be required to ‘engage’ with these materials. In addition, parents will no longer be required to be informed on which books will be included on the lists.”

“Students and families may not choose to opt out of engaging with any instructional materials, other than ‘Family Life and Human Sexuality Unit of Instruction’ which is specifically permitted by Maryland law. As such, teachers will not send home letters to inform families when inclusive books are read in the future,” MCPS’ policy reads.

It’s not just conservatives who oppose the required materials.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Montgomery County Muslim Council also oppose the district’s decision.

“We’re trying to be respectful of these groups and their rights, but at the same time, we’re saying our rights need to be represented based off of our belief systems,” Montgomery County Muslim Council President Asif Husain told Fox News.

CAIR has launched a petition demanding parental notification of certain books and restoring the option to opt-out.

“By introducing sexually-themed lessons and materials as part of the school curriculum without advance parental notice, an opt-out option or another reasonable religious accommodation, MCPS is violating the rights of parents and guardians, and undermining Maryland state law, which requires parents or guardians to have the option to remove their children from ‘Family Life and Human Sexuality’ content,” the petition says.

Concerned parents will be speaking out at board meetings, according to Smith.

“We just are parents who see the push to indoctrinate young kids on sexual identity and push this gender ideology on young kids, who just want to play dress up, play and learn. It’s not about academia, so why are we teaching it? Only 31% of our kids in the highest ‘academia’ county can pass math in the newest data released,” Smith told Fox News Digital. “Many parents feel this has nothing to do with equity and inclusion because why aren’t other groups in their community represented?”

When President Donald Trump won the election, MCPS offered a “special curriculum” to “help students cope” with the election results.

The district borders Washington, DC.

If it has to go that far. Probably only in blue states.
