I voted Tomatoes, but only if they are vine ripened. I want nothing to do with the card board tasting ones you get in a store. I actually love all vegetables.

Most people like quite a lot of different vegetables... it's picking the #1 favorite that's the hard part.

Types of vegetables

Vegetables are available in many varieties and can be classified into biological groups or ‘families’, including:

  • leafy green – lettuce, spinach and silverbeet
  • cruciferous – cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and broccoli
  • marrow – pumpkin, cucumber and zucchini
  • root – potato, sweet potato and yam
  • edible plant stem – celery and asparagus
  • allium – onion, garlic and shallot.

Yes, there are numerous types, but we're limited to 25 in polls.

I also didn't include Asian vegetables either. Like lotus, bamboo chute, warabi, sansai, chingensai, kikurage, etc.

It’s hard to pick just one. Even harder to make a poll that covers all options.

Interesting...

Do you eat it only boiled or have you ever tried it grilled? I've tried both but like it boiled better.

Grilled is good.
