I had no idea until I looked it up.  I thought it had been banned nationwide years ago.

I think making a little kid sit in a corner for X amount of minutes is a better way. I did that to kids I took care of (for free). They loved me.

Time outs get good results. Often a child who is acting out wants attention.  When you remove all attention, being bad doesn’t seem as much fun.

Yes, 22 states, but if teachers refuse to use it, it won’t happen.
