So the rioters are hypocrites and xenophobes by the definitions used by their own supporters.

And by targeting businesses owned by specific ethnicities, their actions should technically come under the definition of hate crimes. But then by their standards, the only people who are capable of committing hate crimes are those with pale skin and west European ancestry. Everyone else gets a free pass to run amok and commit whatever acts of arson and wanton destruction that they please.

Extrapolating, it makes me wonder if, should they get the upper hand of power, if they'll do a Balkan States type ethnic cleansing.

Hate crimes are only hate crimes if someone is willing to charge them.  Rioters seem to get away with a lot. They are being arrested, then let out.

Oh, I bet a lot of retired, unemployed, and other fixed income people will end up losing their homes due to tax foreclosure when the property tax skyrockets. I've said for decades that the ad valorem tax is the most cruel tax of all, since it creates a liquidity squeeze for the elderly especially.

Yep. If the victim is white and CIS, it's never a hate crime. That double standard is understood loud and clear.

But of course even objecting to being looted and burned out is "hate speech", and heaven forbid someone actually tries to defend themselves or <shudder> their property.

So far, the gov has put a ban on evicion and foreclosure.

It still won't help landlords who are faced with no cash flow and leaky roofs with water damage, water heater out, furnace or air conditioners that need servicing, and other problems that crop up in any rental property.
