Yes. If they can get rid of gas powered vehicles and EVs are scarce, fewer people can drive.

They dint want to hook up that much power. They just say that they do.

And if fewer people can drive, fewer people can go to work. 

And if fewer people can go to work, more people will be on welfare.

So, is their aim to make America a welfare state? Or even worse, turn us into a socialist state where everybody is dependent on the government.

Reminds me of Obama's Solyndra and other green new deal ordeal all over again.

There is not enough space in large cities to move everybody from the rural areas into the cities so that they don't have to drive.
