My children also had men teachers after 5th grade.

Many. Of grades 1-8, only Grade 7 was a man. In my 4 years of high school, English was 3M/2W, math was 3M/1W, sciences were 7M, history was 3M/1W, language was 2W.

You took a lot of science.  All men?

and they already know whether you're conservative or liberal and thus the conservatives will not be chosen.

Yep. Because they first check one's social media profiles and postings long before they ever even interview someone. If you haven't been a good little woke GenZ type, any resume's just go straight to /dev/null.

Some had connections, all had degrees.

And these days, people aren't allowed to get a degree unless sufficiently "woke" to appease the administration and faculty...

Thus it helps screens out most people from the American Heartland.

if that customer wanted to ignore my 12 years experience over a paper holding CCIE novice... that they shouldn't be our customer. Management agreed and we turned that customer down. They didn't turn me down... my company turned the customer down. And that was a good call too because that customer made the local news because the paper CCIE they did finally hire, apparently caused a security breach due to his lack of knowledge several years later. (* LOL *) Some call that karma!!!

hahahaha.

Thing is, I have heard of even worse things that have happened when some outfit hires a paper certificate who doesn't have the common sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions printed on the sole.

When it involves industrial processing, sometimes the results are explosions, fires, (see BLEVE), massive shortages of fuels in certain regions, a few houses burned up, a whole city without power for a few weeks, and of course by the time the lawsuits are done with 20 years later, there's a whole bunch of trial lawyers who can put their great-grandkids through the Ivy League without having to hit another lick at a snake for the rest of their lives, and their kids can sit on their butts and live like royalty for the rest of their lives as well.

Schools have one job. To teach children knowledge they need to get by in life. Math. Reading. History. Science If they can’t do that, they are useless.

and they have failed at many of those. They don't teach life skills. Like why payday loans are a ripoff. Why you don't buy a new car until you have pretty close to a million dollars net worth to safely absorb the depreciation hit.

And why playing the lottery every week is going to be the path to having nothing to show for it, as opposed to investing 15% of one's income for retirement even it if means living in a tent for a year, because it will pay off enormously by letting time be your friend, rather than starting at 45 and time being your enemy.

Heck, a lot of these kids are bamboozled into tens of thousands in non-bankruptable debt - essentially selling themselves into slavery - to get a worthless degree in underwater basket weaving.

but a whole lot of the legalized scams out there would never want their most lucrative suckers - um - "clients" - to realize their product is not only worthless but has a negative value.

Like a time-share. Like title pawn loans. like payday advance loans. Like credit card debt. like rent to own. All of those are financial millstones around most people's necks. Heck, like premium TV cable packages just to keep up with Game of Thrones.

Well, at least it is possible to basket weave underwater, but underwater basketball... (* ROFLMAO *)... now that would be worthless! (* SNICKER *)

FWIW

Hahahaha.

Actually basket weaving is done with wet wicker In Scouts I remember that we took all the straight wicker material and soaked it in a bucket of water, then while it was all soaking wet, the reeds were easily bent and woven. Once the basket is complete, you take it out and let it dry, where it hardens into that final shape..
