Well, at least it is possible to basket weave underwater, but underwater basketball...

Hahahaha.

Actually basket weaving is done with wet wicker In Scouts I remember that we took all the straight wicker material and soaked it in a bucket of water, then while it was all soaking wet, the reeds were easily bent and woven. Once the basket is complete, you take it out and let it dry, where it hardens into that final shape..

All men, but that was in the early 1950s.

I was a department manager in a techie organization for 10 years. My employees ranged from high school graduates (several) to one PhD. The latter wasn't bad, but several others were better.

Moral of that story - stay off social media or don’t post politics.

Anyone can get a degree if they keep their heads down and focus on subject matter.  Not every major or class involves politics.

It all comes down to common sense.  People must learn to budget and spend wisely, and not follow the examples of DC politicians. Both sides are addicted to spending.

Yep... I did that in the Boy Scouts too. Ratan furniture and many of the things Japanese make with bamboo, etc. do the same... they use water to soften it up so that it can easily bend... and once dried, it hardens again. You know the large Taiko drums the Japanese use in many festivities... well, the outer wood they use for them is also softened and curved by soaking them in water too. And don't forget all the old wine and whiskey casks/barrels that they stored their distilled goods in were also created similarly too.

However - the tech giants assume if you have no social media presence, then you must have something to hide.

For kids who want to work for big tech... yep.

But what about the woke professors and CEOs who drag their companies through the political mud? They've all got degrees and their the head of their company, but they still foolishly talk politics from their position of authority.

They're supposed to be smart and everything, but I just think they're all stupid a$$holes for doing such!
