Legendary director, screenwriter, political activist, Spike Lee is doing one the most honorable things for ousted NFL player, Colin Kaepernick. On Tuesday morning,…

I think the only way he'll ever be in the NFL again is on somebody's practice squad where they never get a chance to be on TV.

You see Miami picked up crippled ass Jay Cutler, some whined that Klapperdick should have been signed instead.

I believe he's worn out his welcome in the NFL, hope it was worth it.

he had the dream of hundreds of thousands of HS kids that played football and some that never did.

it wasn't enough - he didn't want to just be a pro NFL player he had to get political and insult America, the flag, cops, get racial, etc

we don't tune in FOR THAT

He passed on an opportunity to play with the super bowl winning broncos because he didn't want to drop a little salary. OK, but he stayed on a horrible team when everyone else left over the summer. When the pressure hit and the team was loosing he decided to focus on this. He grew his hair out and found a distraction. He should've fought hard for his career while he also fought for the issues he believes in. When you put these issues first and career second who will want you. He has like 5 months off a year to focus on these issues and then work hard at football the other 7. He could've been a role model. Instead when the team fell( it falls on the quarterback) he walked away and found a place to fit in. But that place wasn't fighting with his team and his career.

The fans blamed him when the team wasn't doing well. He should've taken it, that's what leaders do. Instead he took this route.

And what has the NFL done to the poor little muslim-wannabee/racist and hateful punk? Oh yeah, they gave him air time to protest his girl-friend's cause...while messing up football.,

Is that what Lee is protesting, the interruption to football?

I just want to watch football. If some rich-ass cry baby has an issue let him buy air time from the damn network and do it that way. But to use the NFL to show your ass is bullshit and should have been shitcanned the first time he did it on the NFL's time.

A well thought out summation of what Kaepernick is all about. And again this is the NFL, Talent and ability count. But personality, character, reputation and the ABILITY TO PUT FANS IN THE SEATS , determines your value.

At medium talent on the back side of your career you sure don't want the reputation that's going to drive away fans. And any team that signs him is certainly going to lose more than it gains. His value just isn't there.

Anyone that watched Jerry McGuire should know that... or anyone that knows squat about pro ball in any league
