My daughter is visiting from the States. She was finally able to catch a Mr. Mime, so she has that country-specific Pokemon to boast about back home. :)

Then, she and I were both able to catch a Blastoise, and a few Charmanders. I was finally able to evolve my Magicarp, so all in all, the end of the year PokemonGo play was successful today. I'm painfully low on Pokeballs, though, and I still don't have any 10k eggs, so chances of the Togipee (not sure how to spell it), are pretty nil.

My end of year stats: Level 25 (125,281 out of 190,000 needed to next level), 110 Pokemon caught, seen: 127

That's one way to do it!!!  Another possibility would be to have someone sign in with your account, and catch those country-specific Pokemon
for you!  Then again, one would have to truly trust that person!  Don't know if I would do that - probably not.  I'm jealous that your daughter
has  a Mr. Mime, but really, good for her!

I haven't seen any "higher-evolved" starter Pokemon yet, but I have caught a random Charmander or two.  I've seen a few Bulbasaurs, but they
have all managed to run away.  No Squirtles yet since this new "event" rolled out today.  I've also seen quite a few of the "Santa-hat" Pikachus,
and caught some more.

At the moment, my end-of-the-year stats: Level 27 (182,400 out of 250,000 needed for next level), 113 Pokemon caught, seen 124.  I've only
hatched one baby Pokemon so far.  I have 9 eggs in incubators (thanks to the daily free incubator!) but no idea if any contain "babies."  It's
doubtful that I'll hatch any today.

I'm also low on supplies other than healing potions.  Hitting Pokestops don't help stock up more than the numbers of Pokemon that
keep spawning.  Normally, I'd try to capture everything that spawns just to keep the XP piling up, but with the number of balls at my
immediate disposal, I've become choosy as to what to go after.  And, I haven't seen anything "new" in ages!

We managed to grab a couple of Charmeleons tonight.  Bulbasaurs have been like crazy common around here the past two days. Charmanders pretty common today. But no babies, and only three eggs in the incubators.
